Our client needed a CRM platform to manage a very high volume of online advertising sales and maximize the profits gained from those sales.
In an environment where prices change by the minute, the solution had to be able to manage pricing for advertisements on over 100 Million web pages, control profit margins through pricing range recommendations, and offer top performance to handle the price management of such a large inventory.
We designed a centralized dashboard that supports attribute-based pricing and user-specific discounting. The application features included Siebel Pricing Engine as a web service as well as a custom order capturing function.
The solution delivers advertising to millions of users across four continents, handles more than 35,000 pricing requests per day, and evaluates proposed pricing changes. Our client now relies on the capabilities of the solution to determine the correct price and discounts for every customer quote.
Our client realized increased revenues through flexible product offerings, elevated profit margins through rules-based pricing, margin control through contract-based pricing, and cut maintenance costs by eliminating all pricing scripts. The solution also delivered a three-fold boost in performance over the previous solution.
